John, Cameron, DPM
Dr. Cameron is originally from Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Cleveland to earn his undergraduate degree at John Carroll University. He pursued coursework that allowed him to explore various careers in medicine and found that podiatry satisfied several of his interests as a long-time cross country and track athlete.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology, he attended podiatric medical school to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University. His education continued with three years of training in foot and ankle surgery sponsored by East Liverpool City Hospital.
Dr. Cameron’s residency training was based heavily in Youngstown, Ohio. The program boasts a strong presence in the area and is considered one of the nation’s longest-running podiatric residency programs.
He received extensive training in the treatment of lower extremity pathology with exposure to proven foot and ankle surgical techniques. He values how he was to trained think critically regarding his work and strives to pursue opportunities to continue his education whenever possible.
