Ayisha E. Livingstone, MD

As a child of a military family, Dr. Ayisha Livingstone was exposed to many different ways of life as she moved to different parts of the United States and Europe. At the age of 18 she moved to Tampa, Florida to obtain her bachelor’s degree at the University of Tampa. She then received her MD degree from the University of Miami in 2003. 

After completing both her internship and residency at the University of Miami’s orthopedic program, she spent a year at the University of Pittsburgh for a dedicated fellowship in the hand and upper extremity. In both Miami and Pittsburgh, under the tutelage of dedicated and nationally known orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Livingstone had an excellent and comprehensive education in a wide variety of orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Livingstone is committed to being an active participant within her community. As a University of Miami graduate, she was active in Habitat for Humanity, the Florida Keys Health Fair, and the Ronald McDonald House.

Dr. Livingstone’s focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of ailments and injuries of the hand and upper extremity. Her expertise includes soft tissue injuries, including tendons and ligaments, and fractures of the hand, wrist and forearm, as well as endoscopic carpal tunnel procedures, joint reconstruction of the hand and wrist fusion.
