Robert Baylis, MD
Dr. Robert Baylis graduated from Stanford University and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California at San Francisco. He received his fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery in New York, where he also served as the assistant team physician for the New York Mets.
In 2003, Dr. Baylis was one of six physicians chosen to receive the Florida CHOICE Award, recognizing outstanding workers’ compensation physicians. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Baylis specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization, shoulder replacement, and arthroscopic ACL reconstruction.
He currently serves as team physician for American Heritage and Archbishop McCarthy High School. He also provided medical coverage for the 2005 Fed Cup tennis tournament in Delray Beach.
